Minister for Youth presents Lotterywest cheque at Launch

The Honourable Donna Faragher, Minister for Environment and Youth,  launched the Our Space Safe Place Project and presented a cheque on behalf of Lotterywest for $61,690 to the Injury Control Council of WA.  The Launch of Our Space, Safe Place Project took place on Friday 9 April 2010 at City West Lotteries House. Stuart Reid, the Director for Policy and Planning – Children, Early Years, Youth and Families, from the Department for Communities also spoke at the event, and gave a personal insight of growing up in Glasgow, Scotland.  Deb Sarah Stuart Over 50 community members and professionals who work in either youth services, or community safety related fields attended the  Launch, held at City West Lotteries House. The project staff are currently seeking expressions from interested young people and stakeholders who may wish to be involved.
