To Launch Community Safety Month and to celebrate International Safe Communities Day, ICCWA will host the second annual Breakfast of Champions. The event will celebrate stories of those communities and individuals championing safety. Local Champions are people taking initiative and action to make our community safer and the Breakfast will be an opportunity to acknowledge some of the many fantastic advocates across Western Australia.

When: 7:30am -10am on Friday 1 October, 2010
Venue: Burswood on Swan, 1 Camfield Drive, Burswood
Cost: ICCWA members $35 per ticket — $40 non ICCWA members
Guest Speaker: Professor Fiona Wood

ICCWA wins 2009 LIFE Award!
On Friday September 11th, ICCWA was awarded the 2009 Healthy Communities LIFE Award for its contribution to suicide prevention within south west communities. ICCWA recently held a celebratory event in Bunbury to thank the forty organisations and individuals that participated in the Understanding and Building Resilience in the South West project and now there is even more to celebrate!
