ICCWA Injury Prevention Awards 2008

Thursday November 13 2008 at City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth 3pm.

Professor Fiona Wood, 2005 Australian of the Year, Director of the Royal Perth Hospital Burns Unit and an Australian Living Treasure, will present the awards this year.

ICCWA is honoured Professor Wood has taken time out of her busy schedule to highlight the importance of prevention efforts and recognise those groups and individuals across WA who are making a difference in the community.

The following awards will be presented at the awards ceremony

• ICCWA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Injury Prevention

• ICCWA Community Injury Prevention Award

• ICCWA Award for Excellence in Injury Prevention Research

• ICCWA Media Award for Excellence Injury Prevention Reporting

• ICCWA Student Award
